Flying Friend

In what seems to be an all too normal event, on Saturday we found a somewhat sleepy Bat under the garbage barrel. I was moving it while doing some yard cleaning. We put a big box over him/her for a few hours so as not to scare it, then moved the barrel back over it later afternoon. When I checked again at dusk it had gone. Nothing really eventful, but wildlife has a habit of seeking us out at the house.

Lucky you live in the US. If that had happened here, you would have been besieged by local government bureaucracy. An order would have been made so that you couldn't do anything to disturb the bat! Great picture though.
